Data deletion
1. Who this page is for
This page explains how to request the deletion of personal data processed by YumaOS, the platform of Pro Business S.r.l. (VAT IT04009250921, Via Sigmund Freud 4, 09126 Cagliari, Italy). It covers three cases:
- You are a platform user (owner or team member of a company registered on YumaOS).
- You are a customer or prospect of a company that uses YumaOS and your data was entered by that company, or you exchanged WhatsApp messages with its business number managed through YumaOS.
- You connected a Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp Business account to YumaOS (for example to receive campaign leads or to enable the WhatsApp assistant).
2. How to request deletion
Write to support@yumaos.com with the subject "Data deletion request", stating:
- your first and last name;
- the email address, phone number or Meta account through which the data can be linked to you;
- if you are a customer of a company that uses YumaOS, the name of that company (so we can locate the data on their side too).
No forms and no justification are needed. If the request comes from an address other than the registered one, we may ask you to verify your identity so that we never delete someone else's data.
3. What happens next
- We confirm receipt within 3 working days and complete the deletion within 30 days, as required by art. 12 GDPR.
- We delete the data from YumaOS systems and from the technical providers that process it on our behalf (listed in the privacy policy).
- If the data was entered by a company that uses YumaOS, that company is the data controller: we forward the request and put them in touch with you, in addition to deleting the technical copies we hold.
- We keep only what the law requires us to keep (for example invoices, for 10 years) and backups, which are overwritten in ordinary cycles and are never consulted.
4. Connected Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp Business accounts
You can also disconnect YumaOS directly from Meta: in Facebook open Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, find "YumaOS" and choose Remove. Removal revokes YumaOS's access to your account; to delete the data already received as well, write to us as described in section 2.
