1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files that visited sites save on your device to store information useful for the site's operation or for analyzing its usage.

YumaOS uses the cookies strictly necessary for the Service to function and, only if you accept them, the LinkedIn marketing cookies described below. We do not use other third-party advertising cookies.

2. Types of Cookies Used

2.1 Technical cookies (always active)

Necessary for the Platform to function. Without them, the Service cannot work properly. They do not require prior consent under current regulations.

  • __session: identifies the access session. Duration: session duration.
  • yumaos.locale: stores the user's language preference. Duration: 1 year.
  • Firebase Authentication cookies for login persistence. Duration: per Google policy.

2.2 Functionality cookies

Used to remember user choices (tier preferences, accordion state, etc.). They can be disabled but some functionality will be affected.

2.3 Analytics cookies (future, opt-in)

Currently YumaOS does not use analytics cookies. If we introduce analytics tools (e.g. privacy-friendly analytics) in the future, their use will be subject to your explicit consent via cookie banner.

2.4 Marketing cookies (only with your consent)

If you accept marketing cookies, the yumaos.com website loads the LinkedIn Insight Tag of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company. It is used to measure how many people reach the site from our LinkedIn campaigns and what they do there, in aggregate form, and to show our ads on LinkedIn to people who have already visited the site. Without your consent the code is not loaded.

The cookies are set by LinkedIn (for example bcookie, li_sugr, lidc, UserMatchHistory, AnalyticsSyncHistory, li_fat_id); up-to-date names and durations are in LinkedIn's cookie table. The code is never loaded on the sign-up and questionnaire pages. You can withdraw your consent at any time from «Cookie preferences», at the bottom of every page.
